seat belt height adjuster briken?
After having removed my carpets following sunroof drain leakage, I've noticed that the passenger seat belt height adjuster mechanism seems to be broken - the cables are very loose and there doesnt seem to be any springyness to the drum. is this something that cant be fixed or just simply chucked and replaced? i have a donor car with all the parts but cant remove the seats as the electrics are dead!! thanks for reading
 ps does the cable come out of the carpet in the same hole as the seat wiring??

The cable is connected to the seat base by a hook thingy, chances are yours has disconnected itself. Simply find the end & refit it

If you need to replace it, it comes out of a different hole to the seat wiring (The wires exit the carpet in the same place as the rear heater vents)

thanks gents, I am down to bare passenger floor with the carpet out (out in 2 pieces) and hence noticed the dodgy adjuster. the driver side one was fine (even though i did forget to reconnect it at first!!) but the passenger one definitely doesnt look right with lots of floppy cable, hence my question!
