Looking for my first 75.
My trusty Rover 400 is getting a bit weary and have always wished for a 75 and now would like to take the plunge..
Would like diesil automatic with all trimmings, low milage. and in very good condition 03/04/05 plate. Based in Scotland but would travel for right car. Can anyone help. Last edited by three sisters; 4th September 2008 at 18:38.. |

Try Autotraders, it's where I sourced both our cars, R75 and wife's yellow VW New Beetle. You will probably find the diesel prices are much more than the petrol cars.

Just had a look at this one
http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk..._mileage=60000 it is a Connie with SE pack (like mine) but no cruise control. I thought the SE pack included cruise?

Hi there. If you are still looking this might suit you (except for the mileage).
It is in Dalry in Ayrshire (not sure where in Scotland you are). http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2004-ROVER-75-CLASSIC-CDT-AUTO-SILVER_W0QQitemZ150289425650QQcmdZViewItem?hash=it em150289425650&_trkparms=39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A7|240% 3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 It is a 54 plate Auto diesel. Good luck with the search. Derek |

Hi Three Sisters
If you are still looking: http://www.arnoldclark.com/detail.ht...sr=0&$ac_pp=10 It is an 04 Diesel Auto Conniesseur with only 38,000 Miles. Pricey at £6988 but I'm sure you could chip away at it a bit. It is shown as at the Kilmarnock Honda branch. Derek Last edited by derekosb; 8th September 2008 at 14:06.. |

Maybe I was being a bit harsh when I said pricey in my earlier post!
http://www.smc-cars.com/MG_Rover/UsedCars/view/62205 SMC (a regular forum contributor and club supplier) has a beautiful 54 plate Conn SE Diesel Auto (see above link) and it is £8995. I am starting to think I did pretty well with my Feb 04 "53" Conn SE (albeit Manual) which cost me a lot less! Anyway, how are you getting on with your search? Have you found one yet? Derek |
