Default 32 months and no problems, is there something wrong with my car?

Not usually one to tempt fate... but too late now!

I've had my CDTi (reg Dec 03) for 32 months now, have used it daily usually and travelled all over Europe with it (it's currently my daily transport to and from work in Austria). I'm not the type that dotes on it, but I do appreciate it's qualities (that second look as you drive by)and accept it's short comings, though few.
I don't check things as often as I should and only fix things when needing to be fixed, to me it's a car, and there lies the conundrum... in 32 months the only thing that has needed attention has been 2 headlamp bulbs and 1 number plate bulb and now needing a second set of tyres, am I doing something wrong?

Shocking innit! Had mine 24 months and done just under 30,000 miles...I haven't even had the chance to replace a broken bulb yet

Where's the fun in that eh?

Dodgy Mafs? I'd give me right arm for a dodgy Maf!

I know the feeling Great Isn't it?
All the usual Service Items Plus Tyres.

2 X MAF Changes ( 1 Faulty exchanged under warranty)
I x Headlamp Bulb.
I x Sidelight Bulb.
Change Fuel Filter Top connection.

Still investigating a Down-change problem, on gearbox but doesn't stop you driving

All in over 100,000 Miles, 3 Years and still on same Fan Motor. .

Default Reliable..... You Bet

5 years old this month, though only 31,000 miles. Only thing replaced was 1 split vacuum hose. No bulbs/no brake pads, no punctures, not 1 electrical fault ( on a Con SE with all the toys)
Only things I do are keep it fairly clean and regularly give the engine compartment a spray with WD40 (buy 5 litre with spray bottle !)
*** that's probably inviting trouble !

Mine was 5years old in June and has done 31000 miles. In that time, apart from servicing (the last two years by Lates) I have had the following work done;
Driver's sun visor replaced (warranty)
PAS pump fitting became loose (warranty)
Airbag warning light (traced to a rear seat belt tensioner bad earth)
2 punctures (nails)
2 brake stop light bulbs.
4 tyres replaced at 23000 miles.
Rustmaster treatment.
Petrol filter clip fitted.
Front brake pads replaced at 30000 miles.
Average 24.54 mpg since new. (from 29.5 to 20.4 dependent on use)
I'm looking forward to many more years and miles of ownership!
