Tourer rear wipers
I operated my rear wipers today when we were getting a spit of rain; worked fine but went to do it again and they wouldn't work. Fuse is not blown so I assume either switch on stalk or motor itself, unless there is some other gremlin. Heard no noises or smell.
Any suggestions for resolving problem? Anyone know if the wiper motor is the same as on BMW? |

The rear wiper on my tourer got slower and slower a couple of weeks ago and then it wouldn't move at all. It just stopped half way up the screen.
I got the thing moving again by opening the screen and moving the wiper by hand, then cleaning most of the muck away around the wiper shaft before emptying the best part of a can of WD-40 onto the shaft both from outside and inside while still moving the wiper by hand. That got it going again. |
