The scarring it causes isn't reversible and you can't pop a pill for it, all you can do at the moment is try to limit further damage. No alcohol, I don't drink anyway; limit salt intake, I use very little as it is, I use fish sauce when cooking; lose weight, I eat very little as it is; avoid infections . . . . how the .... are you supposed to avoid infections

Have to look forward to 6 monthly blood tests and an endoscopy (camera down the throat) every 3 years, I deeply detest endoscopes!

I'm trying to be optimistic, maybe they found scarring but that was only where they stuck the "knitting needles" in to take the biopsy, may not be widespread.

Let's brighten the subject a bit. I was watching the Andy Murray/Serena Williams doubles earlier. Serena Williams is playing in the singles again tomorrow. One of the commentators made an ill considered remark "Do you think Andy will be in Serena's box tomorrow?"

Morning all.

A bit grey here but I think the sun is trying to poke through!

I have the pleasures of Braintree today. One of my visits is to a Seat Dealer which is on a very busy junction near to Freeport Shopping Village.
It is known locally as Cholesterol Corner because there is a KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut and various other fast food joints all huddled together viaing for your business

Cool

Morning all.

Back to reality today. Off to Plymouth to the bank to sort out a few issues.

Bright but high cloud.

[QUOTE=coolcat;2746800]Where there’s muck there’s brass [/QUO TE]

Nae chance - the ne'er do wells have nicked the brass - and all the other metals too

........... and in other news - it's a bit soggy up 'ere today - had some pretty heavy rain during the night. It's done the gardens, and especially the grass, the world of good - everything in the garden has livened up and is a riot of colour.
Another quiet, housebound day today - SWMBO is improving but only slowly. She doesn't have much energy and still has the odd dizzy spell - the bug has certainly floored her.

Well Virgin media rang this morning regarding my Mr Angry email rant about the upcoming £3.50/month rise and year on year price rises.

My missus answered the phone and gave em stick too We've got that price rise knocked off the bill for the next twelve months.
