Default Can faulty reverse sensor fail MOT

Hi

I have faulty reverse sensor and looks like there is a blockage with my screen wash. Can either of these fail an MOT?

The reverse sensor makes no sense about failing mot, unless no reverse light i supose.
Do you have a towbar and ellectrics as the towing ellectrics are part of the mot now also.

the reverseing lights do not come under the mot so will not fail, the screen wash has to work ,the towing lights are nothing to do with mot mine has tow bar and wireing and has never been checked ,fog lights not come under test as well

As already said the reverse sensor is not a problem as reverse lights are not tested but the blocked washer is. They do test your screen washers and wipers. Rear fog light is tested but not fronts IIRC.

Thanks all. I'll sort out the washer this weekend.

Tow bar electrics are ok last time I used them.

Hi

Just thought I'd report back that the blockage was indeed the filter all clogged up. Those screws were a pig to undo even with WD40 in order to get at the water bottle. In fact the lower screw was stuck fast so I had to work around it.

I'll get her in for MOT next week and fingers crossed it won't be too bad, then off to Lates next Sunday for service.
