Default 2nd hand clurtch master cylinder

I have seen some 2nd hand clutch master cylinders on ebay. Some of these have had their fliud tubes cut. Is is possible to re-attach a fluid pipe to a replacement M/S? anyone done this? If re-attachement of the cylinder can be acheived then a petrol or diesel type could be used rather than having to precure the petrol or diesel type as required.

The fluid tube is removable from the master cylinder, there is a pin that holds the tube in place once removed it is self sealing.

So yes it is possible to re-attatch the tube but imo I would not use a 2nd hand master cylinder I fitted one to my car and it only lasted 10 months.

Would go for new if i were you mate.
