Am I going mad??
Hi Everyone
Haven't been on here for a couple of days, have I missed much? On Friday whilst taking my num to the train station I noticed that it seemed my car has dropped! Now I don't know if im going mad but I could swear it is much lower than this time last week. I check my tyre pressure very often so I don't think it is that.....what else/if anything could it be? I will try and get some pics later but has anybody got any ideas? Regards Tom |

I've known 2 springs to go on one side before ? Symptoms might not be obvious till you have a mooch around.

Hi Tom, if I were you i'd put the car on full lock and shine a torch in under the wheel arch and have a good look at the springs. You may have to look underneath the car at the back to see the rears.

I aways find my local Tyre fitter place is very handy when it comes to looking under the car for knocks and stuff, just wait till there not busy and pop in asking them to have a check under your car, this way you can stick your head under as well and see whats going on, if nothing found say "Cheers" and give them a couple of quid and off you go

If it is springs how much would I be looking at? And would there be any other tell tale signs which would be easier for me to notice? Regards Tom |

Grab a tape measure and measure from the centre of the alloy upto the underside of the wheel arch. This will give the ride height.I think the discrepency is 10mm ( ??? )
Fitted price for a pair is in the region of £120. |
