If you really feel the need to spend £500.00 at 30K rather than 90K then go ahead. Really not necessary though.

Oh thats good then , i just thought if the car was aging so was the cam belt but thats £500 i can spend on petrol..ha ha. or clothes.

Surely a 52 plate will need it done from Sept 08 onwards as that is 6yrs? Rubber belts deteriorate with age, I thought that was why the time limit was there as well as a mileage? Still that's 18 months away to save up.
