They are exactly the same parts as the other seller. 'From 03/99 just means they fit all cars from launch in 03/99

I think I'll go with the recomendations stated above. And I'll save around £50 doing so.

As do most people Mike. Must learn to refresh before replying or type faster.

Mind you must be helpful to the OP to have three people replying in the same way.

Keeping fine thanks apart from the usual Jan 31panic (I am an accountant for my sins). Hows the V8. Previous owner thought he saw the car around here a few weeks ago. Was he dreaming ?

David

Just replaced my rear discs and pads (which are common across all models).

The handbrake shoes were not too worn but they all had axial cracks around the shoe circumference through the linings - so I decided to replace them.

I used Mintex discs, pads and shoes and was very pleased with the result.

As a general note I will no longer trust the wear indicators only. The pad with the indicator still had around 4mm thickess left and had not quite operated the warning light, whereas on the other caliper the pad lining had worn virtually down to the metal back plate !

Rear discs are either solid or vented depending on model...
