ZT seatbelt/height adjuster.
As above on the drivers seat there is a Bowden cable emerging from the carpet it has a springsteel stirrup at its end. the seat frame has a shaped hook and it appears this should have the Bowden cable attached? Well its not and I have not found any likely bolt or clevis pin in the car- nor does Ra-e or Rimmers show anything, is it a bolt or what or can I use a suitable size bolt or is there an appropriate part I can obtain? Thanks Chris S. Its hissing down with rain here!

The wire end should have a loop which merely fits on the hook you mention., no bolts neded.

thanks Ken and Ron- my clip doesn't have the L shaped clip or the round section bar? shown in your second picture Ron. Just the clip fastened to the cable end. I will have to investigate further- thanks for help gentlemen. Chris.S.

just engaged brain, realizing the front passenger seat must have same mech. sure enough it does and is complete so I see the arrangement. As said mine doesn't have the securing clip-it functions in the same way as the connecting clip in bicycle chains, so I will see if there are any MGRovers at the car breakers. unfortunately it will be like rocking horse sweat- Its the sunny south, over populated with incomers who favour "other makes" etc. so the car breakers reflect this. Thanks again for your help. Chris S.
