Uh oh!!!
Looks like a trip to Tom Hobbs is on the cards Noticed a bit of rust on the n/side jacking pad, so had a dig about. Not good

Ron I hate to say this, but that is more than what it looks, even now. I can see bubbling right up on the top end of the sill...
Good news is, Bones looked just like that, and when Tom poked there were huge holes - which he fixed in no time at all! He's a top bloke. Let me know when you are coming, and if I am not working, or it falls we can meet up, glad to help with ferrying you - although Tom and his dad are great at that too! |

Some good pubs in the area too, if you do fancy a meet up for a meal Before knowing Tom I was terrified when I saw stuff like this, but not anymore. never seen anything like what he does! Your baby will be in safe hands.

It's certainly no problem for Tom. If possible I won't take my car anywhere else for welding.

Nooooooooo! That's not something any of us want to see, but eventually probably will. Still, can be fixed and fixed well by the right person, and we all know who that is.

I've just had the passenger side done by Tom. Found inner and outer sill was heavily corroded and after Tom cut it open that's when the severity of the corrosion became apparent. Jacking point completely gone. Tom has rebuilt the damaged area and resprayed the sill. Looks like new again. If you provide the spray paint Tom will paint the repaired section. My paint was supplied by Nuagane using paint code from car from bay of fleas.
Perfect match. |
