Seen diesel at less than a pound for the fist time in ages (in Linconshire) today. 99.9p in Grantham, and I filled up yesterday at £106.9.... Oh well!

What must be the Cheapest now,
Shell, Vale Road. Rhyl. Denbighshire. North Wales.

Petrol 86.9p Per Litre
Diesel 97.9p Per litre

Beating both the Local Morrisons and Sainsbury both within Half a mile.
Their Diesel 99.9p and 98.9p.

Still expensive when you look at price of oil now,
but haven't seen cheaper anywhere in UK on my travels.

Unless you know otherwise?....................

Hi,
Past a Shell Garage in Hillington Glasgow today and the prices were the same as you have quoted John.

Esso in Port Glasgow Petrol 87.9 Diesel 98.9
Morrisons Greenock Petrol 87.9 Diesel 99.9

Not cheap when you remember that at least 60p of those figures goes to the TAX MAN
So without the TAX the price of the actual fuel is in the region of :- Petrol 27p per litre and Diesel 38p per litre.
Makes you think, where does all this Tax money go. It must be put to good use no doubt!!!
Regards,
Telfer.

Shell in Rhyl has always been ahead of the game. When I worked in Rhyl they would always be the first to drop prices. But if you go to any other shell in North Wales they will be at least 2p more expensive than Rhyl.

Most Strange.
It is an extremely busy station often with queues even when no fuel shortages etc.
Better value to start off with to than Supermarket petrol, so the Locals are all winners for a change.
Long may it last.
Morrisons and Sainsbury both dropped their prices a further 1p per litre today in Rhyl.

I signed up for email alerts with petrolprices but don't find them any use as they are very out-of-date by the time they send them
