Thoroughly agree, made the trip up there on Wednesday and Nick went over my new car for me, making sure that everything was ok.

What I like about this set up is the guy is enthusiastic about the make and his knowledge is unbelievable.

I had a T4 session and changed a few of the preferences, which makes the car feel more like my car.

I even got him to put on the heater washers that I got from Les, but he could not do this as I am such a numpty, the car already had them fitted.

The setting where it is is lovely and Jean his wife and partner was very hospitable for my time there.

So if you live that way then use and if you do not live that way I would recommend the trip to have either a full service or repair or to have something retro fitted.

Thanks for this info. I've been looking for a local place to do the odd repairs when needed. I'll keep a note of this garage.

Default Austin Garages - First Class

I took the Bermuda Triangle (as it is now known) to see Nick at Austin Garages for an Engine & Gearbox Filter/oil change a week or two after I got it, and he displyed his knowlege and thorough understanding of Rovers, showing me more about my car in a couple of hours than I ever knew, and he also got the rest of the weeds out of the under-carriage, a souveneer from Bermuda, which says a lot for SMC's PDI!

Nick and Jean are very nice people and very generous with the coffee. I will be using them for all my jobs in future, in fact I have arranged to take my Tourer in after Christmas to fit the new headlights and other bits and bobs.

Very friendly, very knowlegable and great value.
Andy
