What gets me is that you can't buy things over the counter anymore or visit a stately home without giving private details about yourself. For example, I went to buy a garden fork at Screw Fix yesterday and they needed my name and address. What on earth for? All I want is something to dig with.
The same when visiting Chatworth house a couple of weekends ago. The first thing they do is ask for your name and then personal details. Who knows where those details will end up.......
