If the offenders are caught, their parents should foot the bill to repair the damage and the offenders should do the repairs....learn a bit of respect and manners.
Of course I totally agree with you. This government has become far too soft with the youth of today, but I believe it is the parents who are to blame. The majority of these morons are dragged up even bigger morons. I was always careful not to overstep the mark as a child because I feared the consequences. There is no such deterrent in today’s world. The criminal has rights just as a victim of crime. I have always been against this.

That really is a heartbreaking scene. I hope you can sort it, if I was closer I would also be offering a hand.

Thanks for the offer Corwen. What happened to you must have been a big shock. Perhaps something similar but that little bit worse needs to happen to them so they can feel what it's like. Of course the truth is that these morons probably don't have anything remotely like we do.

I think my biggest problem is where to pile all the debris. The site has a waste skip delivered every Easter for dumping all unwanted metal etc. Guess I'll just wait for that and shove it to one side till then. I still find it difficult to put into words my thoughts on the event.

That's really bad. Having lived beside allotments at one time I appreciate the time and care that's taken with them.

Thanks.

The offers of help I have received is quite comforting. I just need to be sure that security improvements are in place before I start rebuilding things down there..... I will see when I wonder down in the morning.

It's also good to know that the police have taken it seriously.
