Generally you need a good wideband antenna. Previously they had gain groups, so you bought the right one for your area. With freeview, many channels are outside the gain group for an area, hence wideband being needed. The areials themselves are not that expensive, although installers do tend to inflate the prices somewhat. This is the type I've got: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TELEVES-DAT-45...3286.m14.l1318 and get good signal from it. Cost me about 30 notes for an installer to fit. HTH |
