Cup holder next to cigar lighter
Hello
Could anyone tell me if it is possible to obtain and fit a new cupholder (the one nearest the front passenger seat) that pops out when you press it. Is it difficult to repair? Ours is permanently out at the moment and we have to wedge it shut with paper. I would like to have it repaired asap, but Hubby having paid £2.000 on the gearbox recently refuses to take it back to the garage again! Has anyone managed to solve this one themselves. Thanks |

The last place to look would be ebay as they will be listed as rare and overpriced.
Could also try Rimmer Brothers or any local X-Part dealer.

It should be noted that the standard-fit cup holder for RHD cars which is the passenger cup holder isn't as rare or sought after as the non-standard-fit drivers side cup holder. Although a reputable place ought to charge similar prices for both, as mentioned above sellers on eBay may not be so generous in the pricing of what is essentially, two similar items.

Why not ebay ??
I wouldn't quite say that ebay should be a last resort..
I just bought one myself. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWN:IT&ih=007 £9.50 delivered...with a walnut fascia. I thought that was quite cheap. it isn't without fault though..... but this isn't too bad... its the clip that retains it in place in the dash that is a little bent and worn so doesn't totally grip, it does hold ok, just means you can remove it without lifting the clip, but other than that small issue it works perfectly. Just keep your eyes open. Dean

I think the interpretation of the eBay remarks are to not avoid them but more to avoid paying too much
