Some interesting comments on there. Well spotted Dragrad! I would endorse all the comments made (both positive and negative).
Hill starts with the caravan are not fun - I'm mindful of the clutch, which in those extreme conditions, doesn't quite give as much confidence as I'd like. 40 psi in the rear tyres is a very good move. The handbook states 32 psi no matter what you're doing with the car (225/45 R18 tyres) but this is not adequate for towing/ heavy loads in my experience. The Grayston spring assisters I've fitted are great too - didn't go the whole hog and have graduated springs/ shocks or self levelling (which is difficult with the MG's set up). Steve |

Well spotted, just confirms what I'm getting with my Coachman 5 berth. Certainly need 40psi in the rears and 100kg nose weight.

A word of caution for Users of M4 Severn Bridge Toll.
At present Car charges are £5.30 Caravans no extra charge. From a Unannounced date believed next year, Caravans will also be charged at £5.30 to Total £10.60. Government say causes more Pollution and expect extra charges to be put on all Toll roads and Bridges. M6 now £8 if you tow a Caravan. |

We should be give discount. We slow traffic down therby increasing the fuel economy of other drivers, which inturn reduces polution.

On Country Roads where other Road users can't get into or stay in Higher gears the complete opposite comes into effect.
