Default caravan stabiliser wanted

Hi

Some may have noticed on another thread that I am taking delivery of my first caravan this weekend. It would appear that a Caravan stabiliser is something that would improve safety for my holidays with my family.

If anyone has a stabiliser that they no longer use and wish to sell, I am in the market for one.

regards
Alan

Not strictly true, alko have been making hitches for donkeys years so have B&B also albe.....stabilised hitches are not always fitted at the factory, up until last year a stabilised hitch was an optional extra.

From what I can make out in your pics you have a unstabilised alko hitch, so the stabiliser you will require is like

I have some old ones at work but no backing plates, I am away until next friday so if you still need one let me know and I will see what I can sort out for you.

I am due back work next friday, I definately have the leaf springs, not certain about the backing plates, I will see what I can put together for you, give me a shout next thursday or friday just to remind me....

If i can make you one up you will be welcome to it free of charge, just make a donation to the club of £5 or less make your own mind up on that. a new one will cost you £70 or £80 quid.

I'll drop you a reminder.

£5 to the club is a deal.
