Yes Harry but post 183 (I think) says .03v difference will cause a charge rate of 3.7 amp so I recon that since a battery has been claimed to have virtually no resistance, applying 14.5 alternator output would (momentarily at least) multiply that figure by 100, maybe more if the battery was completely flat

Those figures in #183, were quoted text from #182, the writer of which seems have his own theories which are at complete odds with the rest of us.
