Default Upgrading your spec

Hi, I am just returning to 75/ZT ownership with a late 75 Tourer. It is a Connoseur with cloth trim, manual door mirrors etc, so pre 2005 even though it was registered in March. What I am after is to know what upgrades to later or SE spec I can do just by fitting the part and what requires electrical work. Would the wiring be there for powerfold, mirrors, electric seats etc. It’s not a big deal if not but just wondering. Cheers guys. I will get a picture up once I work out how, I am not at all technology savvy. Lol.

Wiring for powerfolds, electric seats etc depends, may be there, may not, pot luck! Electric seats, the big black connector might be there under the front seats, may even hidden under the carpets! Same for powerfolds, check the connectors on the driver's door switchpack, if all the pins are populated the door looms are there and (probably) the cross body wiring as well.

Even without the wiring everything is possible. There are "how to's" for wiring the seats and powerfolds.

As above, check to see if you have the wiring place already for electric heated seats. If you find a large black 8 pin plug under both front seats then you have the loom

Very unlikely that you'll have the wiring for powerfolds already there. On the driver's window switch pack there is a white plug and a black plug. Check if the black plug is fully populated with wires. I cant remember but i think the wires for powerfolds goes in pins 5 and 6. Powerfolds are simple to fit even if you dont have the loom.

I offer a fitting service for heated electric seats and powerfolds so if you need help let me know
