Yes, I think JBH is probably right. I suspect the colour of paint they have chosen is correct, it's just something about the process which has made it a little darker.

If you have orange peel, take it back, no self respecting painter should let a car with orange peel out!

Hopefully a few hours with a machine polisher will have it corrected.

Stone chip is a rubberised coating that protects from road debris etc.its naturally emitted from the gun in an orange peel effect so quite normal.at least they have bothered to put some on😁.most cars I’ve ever come across came from the factory like it.

Hmm, but it's rather unsightly and doesn't match what's on the passenger side.
