Default Drivers door Window/Mirrors unit

The nearside mirror not folding, I have looked at the "How-to-Forum" how to solve the problem. My problem is (never done anything like this before) how do the electrical connections disconnect , I have tried pulling on the connector , is their locking lug on the 2 connectors.
Any help would be most appreciated .

Be careful opening the switch unit too. I can do it in my sleep, but I used to fix laptops for a living - if you're not used to the sort of plastic clips which hold it together, it's easy to break them.

Just take it really easy, keep working round the circumference of the switch unit, a little at a time.

Thank you for the replies , most helpful. I can release the black connection , but the white one is proving a challenge , I can't see a clip or anything that will release the connector ? any suggestions .

EVERYONE on this forum knows more than me, but... I *SEEM* to remember there isn't a clip on the white one. I could be wrong, but try wiggling and gentle pulling for a while... be patient and don't pull too hard, see if it pops off
