Over the top?

Spotted this photo in an Autotrader ad for a Rover 75. I know we like to give our cars a personal touch, but I think sticking a boot badge on the steering wheel is going a bit too far.

Why would anybody do this?

(also, that looks to be a light oak steering wheel whilst the dash is walnut style. Judging by the dials it's a pre facelift. Bit weird.)

Exactly, you shouldn't be sticking hard pieces of plastic on top of the airbag, unless you wanted it inprinted into your face!
