Thumbs down I don't believe it.... Yes I do!

Thought I'd seen it all. I was wrong.

ONLY IN THE UK

Talk about punishment fitting the crime. These are the folks we share our roads with.

Whatever next... blame the weather on it too!

So now when you get arrested you can blame Brexit and get a lighter sentence

She claims she was fretting about losing benefits and being lumped with debt
But she's more than happy to squander it on getting ratfaced?

Insufferable cow.

Default .... and I still do not Believe them!

If what she says in her defence is valid, clearly she is here for the "benefits".

Taking us for MUGs-UK right there ... and it worked! You or I did that, minimum year ban maybe two for that level of DUI.

How much longer does this Nation want to stand for the proverbial "Three Card trick"?

Tell you what, as I have posted here and elsewhere I like the occasional wager. I have had a few quid @ 11-2 the UK will still be a member of the parasitical Union come 1st January 2020. Now well into the fourth year of excuses and delays since the Nation decided and ongoing.

Despite the best and worst efforts of Johnson, Hunt ably assisted by Corbyn and his even less attractive opposition front bench shower, my confidence in the UK Media and Westminster Classes approaches total depletion. The BBC is beginning to get the clear message that the finger of blame for their blatant bias is a true indication of the way an ever increasing number of us view their harmful to the Nation all too frequent FAKE news slants. Bruce, Derbyshire and several others now showing clear signs that they realise they are increasingly being found out.

Ever the optimist, I live in hope that my wager is a loser!

Drink driving - no sympathy.

Our laws are stricter than in England so even less sympathy as she was more over the limit.
It would seem that she was working and not in receipt of benefits.

Jeppson’s solicitor Grant Daglish said his client had misunderstood the situation and had only refused to give a breath specimen due to shock and her ignorance of UK law.

He said: “This happened during a troubling time for her, as due to Brexit she was unable to apply for benefits which meant that she had to get a part-time job and was left in a difficult situation with catastrophic debt.

“She is not a UK citizen so cannot claim benefits and if she loses her licence today, she could become homeless.

“She lives in a remote area of Moray so her licence is important to her, her parents are trying to assist her as much as possible but they live in Sweden
.”

So am I particularly the "had to get a job" part.

MUG-UK still standing for the three card trick that far too many are forming queues to play.

Most certainly am - the Swedish people are wonderful but we cannot arrive in their country and expect to get benefits from their welfare system just because we “have debts”. Their system does not allow that - Lord knows why ours does.

Neither could we expect a lenient sentence because of a spurious reference to a momentous political event.

Certain people would blame the sun rising in the East instead of where they wanted it to rise - if they thought it would get them off a justified charge and an easier ride through life rather than doing what everyone else has to do and actually WORK for it.

So yes - I am “OK with it” - anyone with an ounce of common sense would be.
