Fantastic day today! I didn't feel like I had enough time, though. We took the truck tour, ate food, viewed the cars and showed Sharron's mum around the museum, and in the process I missed people. I only saw Trikey, Deb and Roy and barely had time to chat. I managed to get a picture of the ZT in front of the Lancaster, though - and that meant a lot, as it was for my late brother, Paul, who loved WW2 planes and often visited the museum, but never got chance to take his car.
Thank you everyone, and sorry I had to rush off Andy! |

As Dawn said, not enough time to chat to everyone again, another good show put on by King snuffler (Dave Lincs) and the mid Lincs rover club. Good to chat to members again, apologies to those of you that I didn’t get to catch up with.
A few pics of the day...

Paul was obssessed with aircraft from an early age. My loft is full of models he made. Before I was born he had mum and dad take him to Scampton at weekends to visit Queenie and he wrote to the RAF there. He often visited Kirkby so I thought it fitting his car was pictured with rhe Lanc. Dave and the staff said it was ok. I think a larger framed one of it is in order! Hoping to get one with the Mosquito one day too!
Sorry I s ooted off but Sharron was on a bench somewhere with her mum and had no idea where I was gassing lol. |

A great day out. I have to say this is one if my favourite events if the year - roll on 2020. Great to catch up with folk, as has been said. There wasn't enough time

Gutted I couldn't make this, really fancied it but my MOT's due next week so erred on the side of caution in case she fails.

That's me back home, just under 900 miles covered a fantastic show. The highlight though was the drive.
I don't often get the ZT out on a long drive but it was absolutely sublime, loved every mile. |
