Default Had some real bad luck got broken into

Arrived at the garage this morning, to sort out some bits for people from the club and various other parts going elsewhere, to find that my unit had been broken into and a number of my tools had been stolen, as people can probably guess I was absolutely heartbroken, strangely enough they seemed to have targeted certain tools.

Tools that they have stole are a large Bluepoint socket set
Mac tools swan neck spanners
Diesel injector removal tools
Various power tools Like my Mac gun and dewalt cordless angle grinder etc

But here’s the interesting part they also nicked my M47R tensioner tool custom made myself from an aviation spanner
Hydramount removal tool
M47R Crankshaft pulley holding tool
KV6 engine timing tool kit
M47 Diesel high-pressure pump removal tools

And various other bits like my brand-new MacTools three ton trolley jack

But they didn’t touch any of my specialist tools for Peugeot and Citroen’s very strange
Telling the police was a complete waste of time

I am so gutted right now just don’t know what to do, I’ve always tried treating people the way I like to be treated myself and help people where I can, but it seems there are some people in this world that are complete and utter S##m, Who think nothing of stealing somebody’s livelihood from underneath them.

One thing is for sure my custom-made aviation spanner has my initials engraved into it as I was so pleased when I made it I engraved them so if anybody comes across a britool 22/24 mm Aviation spanner with MH on the end that has been ground down please let me know.
Absolutely no chance ill ever see them other tools again that’s for sure, but I’m keeping my eyes out on Facebook eBay gumtree etc as the copper suggested they may turn up there.

Sorry I didn’t get back to people who asked me about bits today or during the last few days, but this has left me in a position where I’m obviously going to have to go out and buy all new tools again so for the next few days I’m obviously going to be busy doing that.

One thing is for sure if I do find out who has taken my tools, then I’m going to do more than have a word with them.

Just to make it clear I am not implying anybody from this forum has taken my tools I have met many people at my yard from the forum, and I would say everyone of them has been a pleasure to meet certainly not the type of persons who would do this, I suspect that it’s probably some reprobate without any morals

I wouldn’t have posted this on the general forum had it not been for the number of tools that have been taken and specifically in relation to the type of tools, as somebody may get offered these tools at some point obviously the only ones I could clearly identify would be the aviation spanner and the Hydromount tool as I also made that
Mick

If it weren't for the existence of the parisitic barstewards of the world we'd have nothing to measure ourselves against. Bad news.

so sorry to hear this mickyboy. when I had my engineering business years ago I had similar happen to me and also know that it was always at the back of my mind even when I was out with my family for a few beers or whatever that this could well be happening again at that very moment or even when you go to bed at night. I sympathise with you. your tools will turn up again I feel as they must appear for sale somewhere down the line or you will find someone else using them. what other use are they to anyone. you cant have anything at all these days without some lowlife destroying whatever you work towards. you will bounce back from this mickey but get some security upgrades if you can.... otherwise it will happen again. wish you all the best .

Shocking news Micky. I hope you manage to get back to normal very soon. I loathe thieves, may they suffer every misfortune they thoroughly deserve.
