Default A humdinger Of A Cold!

Normally I'm fairly resistant to colds but what a corker I have this time and I have no idea who I got this off.

Feel like absolute garbage, no sense of smell or taste, ache all over.

One of my friends told me to "man up" you can imagine what I said in reply.

It's not fair as I have so many things to do to my car, ready for a few car shows that are coming up, that I just don't care!

Could be Flu if it's that bad, my mother had a bad cold a few years and lost her smell, it's funny but serious too as one day a while ago I went in her house and smelt gas. Right into the kitchen I went to turn 2 knobs on the cooker off, just as well she doesn't smoke , she bumped them some way when cleaning it and didn't notice.

How are you today? Plenty of fluids and immunity boosters in case your feeling run down. I hope you feel better soon and it does not progress into anything else. Over Christmas, I spent the week out in the bush with the dreaded man flu in a tent.....under the shade of a tree. I had the chills but every night, I had a hot toddy of hot water, whisky and lemon to cheer me up. A contingent of youngsters flew in from the UK to join us for Christmas and New Year. I reckon one of them coughed all over me when we met them, or maybe it was someone in the group who was a carrier and was spreading it that way through hand to hand contact. Not everyone washes their hands. Maybe it was as simple as that.
