... fuel is coming from the schrader valve .
Have you done what T-Cut recommended?

Well, what was it?

Default KV6 engine

As you're short of time, here's a test you can do.

The fuel pump (under the rear seat cushion, driver's side) should run for 3 seconds when the ignition key is turned to 'ignition on'. You may need to listen at the fuel filler neck or lift the seat cushion to be sure of hearing it.

When you crank the engine the pump should run continuously. You'll need an assistant to turn the key whilst you listen above the noise of the starter motor. If you can't hear anything, the next thing to check will be the fuel pump relay.

the rear seat cusion is up and i can hear the pump when ignition on 2 ( it sound like a whirring or humming , followed by a gulp or gurgle ? ) but once i try and start the engine it drowns out any noise from the rear of the car completely .

Yes I know, that's why I said you'll need an assistant to turn the key whilst you plaster your ear on top of the fuel pump (or listen at the filler neck). This test is crucial to your problem. During cranking the pump will only run if the crankshaft sensor signal is present.

I managed to get a guage to check.the pressure but it wont fit on correctly i will have to get a more expensive one at some point . However when i tried to start the engine again it kicked into life on the second attempt after being sat where it was parked up last night at about 8pm it wouldnt start at around 10pm but at 3:30pm this afternoon i was able to start and drive home with no further issue ? Does this ring any bells with anyone . The pump can be heard when cranking and when ignition in pos 2
