Took off the rear discs, checked the pads (all good there!) and adjusted the handbrake.
Down side - I need a new compensator

Seeing as the Cover has been on the Car since the Friday before last I thought I had better check to make sure it was still there what with all the rain and storms we've been having the last few days.
Also to check the paintwork underneath as it had been billowing like a good'un aswell..!!! Needless to say, contrary to popular belief, it was looking surprising, (in my own opinion of course) quite good.... So OK that I thought I would take some 'un-atmospheric' and totally 'un-contrived' and purely for my own benefit, photo's whilst..... Wait for it...... ...... It was - On The Drive!!!!! "So Look Away Now"! ...........

I replaced my damaged lower engine mount
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1415553135.374334.jpg With a nice shinny new one ImageUploadedByTapatalk1415553195.409792.jpg from Arctic (thanks Steve) I also changed my side impact sensor so I now have no warning lights for the first time since I purchased the car! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1415553255.298026.jpg And tightened the handbrake so it's now holding on 3 clicks.

Gearbox
Grabed an Hour to clean the gearbox housing out, not a great job when its dumped all the transmission fluid in it. Still looks dirty, but a slight improvement and a bit awkard on wet floor through small apperture.
Before: After: Just need to fit new o-ring, sleeve assembly and slave. Then the fun part of hoisting it back up and on. Then pray and hope it does not dump the nice new expensive MTF94 back in bellhousing. Last edited by Dragrad; 23rd November 2014 at 23:45.. Reason: Thumbnails enlarged |

I've drilled my air box. It sounds 😜 awesome!!!! I know folk will question warm air in the engine bay but the possible slight drop off (nothing noticed) is more than made up by the grin factor. Loving it!

Today I changed the spark plugs in the 620ti and attended a lovely meet in Yorkshire (with another Club) - lovely weather for it, a nice drive over and back, and met some lovely people.
Tomorrow I start stripping the rear suspension of the ZT-T (again!) for some part measuring and testing, but more will be revealed in time.
