Default How long to wait?

Registered on the two sixties this morning but have not had any sort of comformation, how long does it take? Most forums are nearly instant when you sign up.

No anybody can join but you have to currently own or have previously owned a V8 to see the inner sanctum.

Yes, I think you get a badge when you join the MG Owners Club, which if I remember correctly you are required to also join (@~£40) to gain access to the full site on the 260s

I didn't mention joining the MGOC as I'd assumed the op was aware of that, the Two-Sixties being part of that organisation. Yes you do get a screen sticker badge on joining, plus a monthly magazine.

Being a mod on the 260 site let's clarify a few things
  • Everyone can join and have access to the public sections of the forum
  • Owners can become full members and have access to all parts of the forum
  • MGOC membership only required for full members as their server hosts the site

Becoming a member without owning a 260 will give you access to information that can be helpful if you want to buy. Normally questions about prospective cars will be answered by members in the know.

Nothing to do with posh, just they way it's organised
