A weeping inlet manifold gasket can be difficult to diagnose as it only weeps when the engine is cold and more into the inlet than out onto the block. It’s usually accompanied by a rough idle on cold start and a steamy exhaust until the engine warms up. The coolant seeps into the inlet when the engine is cold and is burnt off as the engine warms up, there’s very little evidence on the outside of the block as it seals as everything expands as the engine warms up. Another clue can be one or more spark plugs being exceptionally clean as it is effectively steal cleaned every time the engine is started.

As Ronnie mentioned the original plastic inlet manifolds have been known to warp, hence replacing it with a metal one.
