When buying a car, there's not always a reciept for works done, including Belts. |

You either saw Trikey or Russ, and neither of those would have charged you to check If you didn't see either of those people, that leaves Phil-T4 as a possibility, however I shouldn't think he would charge you to check either. If you used a bog standard T4 operator, they wouldn't have a clue what they were looking for either . So, to recap 1 You are an expert on reflashing mobile phones 2 Your "friend" has a car he'd like upgrading. 3 You already know your car has been upgraded, as the previous owner told you, and somebody charged you to confirm this 4 You already know you can do this job with a £10 tool from China 5 Experience, skill and knowledge obviously mean very little to you. So why don't you simply flash the ECM in your "friends" car, and then advertise the fact you can do ii. Honestly Shawn, you are full of it, especially about the gum residue in the rear window, don't you know the club sticker is of the cling type?, no of course not as you haven't paid the membership fee Brian |

The giveaway was the date and mileage tippexed inside the belt cover
Anyway who would you get to change all three belts on a V6 for £12.50 and a packet of crisps. A V6 wouldn't be a car for you I'd bet Brian Last edited by marinabrian; 16th August 2015 at 12:29.. |

Condition of the Belts,
Date Markings on the Casings. Oh and add to that, the inspection of belts by a professional, not somebody with a socket set and Google. Last edited by sworks; 16th August 2015 at 15:26.. Reason: Wording |

I don't know were your getting the China stuff from?
I'm not selling anything or pushing a service. All I'm getting is traders jumping all over me for wanting a good price for a friend. All of what I've said is true, can't say any more. |
