Default How many gaskets

Hi all, I know quite a few people have done this job so hopefully someone can help me.
I have a ZS 180 and a 75 connie both with the 2.5 KV6, its been suggested that the breather pipes on the 75 may need cleaning due to to the Vis being coated in a light coating of oil and the fact the car is using oil. So I thought I'd do both cars as a precaution, starting with the ZS as I don't use it everyday, so if I don't get it done over the weekend I can still get to work.
The question is how many gaskets do I need, I've been looking at DMGRS website and I think this is what I need (x2 for the 2 cars)

2 KV6 Cam Cover Gasket - LVP100470
1 KV6 Inlet Manifold Gasket - LKJ100992
3 KV6 Upper Inlet Manifold O Rings - MYX100180
3 KV6 Upper Inlet Manifold Seals - LWF100090

Will Need anything else?
Thanks in advance Steve

I don't know if the job will change the oil consumption but it certainly won't hurt! I assume you will be changing or cleaning the wire mesh filters in the cam covers?
I have had very good success cleaning the metal cam cover gaskets rather than replacing them.
The intake to cylinder head gaskets are probably the most important to change. One of mine went and the pinhole size jet of coolant coming out emptied the cooling system in minutes.

With new gaskets fitted and after a few hours running it pays to give the alloy inlet manifold set screws a nip up. I have seen plenty of these that are almost loose and not applying any squeeze to the gasket joint.

If by cleaning the breather pipes you mean to clean the gauze filters and unblock the pin hole restrictions then your list is more than complete. However, even after doing this you’ll still get oil residue, a catch tank might help but I’ve never fitted one.
Slightly confused as to why you need a (single) inlet manifold gasket, you won’t be disturbing these?
Not a bad idea to replace the tin cam cover gaskets, I’ve re-used old ones but had one car with a de-laminated cover that needed a lot of work before use.
Doubt that it will reduce oil consumption, hope you’re not over filling it?

Regards
