broken spring R75 2,5 V6
Hello,
is it necessary to replace both rear springs at the same time if only one is broken? Or is the change of only the broken one sufficent? Thanks, Emiel |

It’s always better to change them in pairs.

re
Thanks for the reaction, is this because of a potential difference in the hight of the car and its driving behaviour?
Thanks, Emiel |

Yes. Exactly that. Some may argue that on an old car it doesn't matter but not me!

And old spring behaves differently to a new one.
I’d never replace a single one |

re coulour codes/springs
Thanks guys, I think you are right and it would be wise to change them both. I will talk this through with the garage. Had an offer of 360 euro to change both springs rearside.
Can anyone explain why there are differences in the springs anyhow? F.i. mine are blue. RD. Does it has something to do with the weight of the car/towing possibilities? Regards Emiel |
