The snow has now turned back to rain here, was meant to be coach driving today but the job was cancelled due to the weather, not surprising really.

Chicken tikka masala and a bottle of Aspall's cider for me

I went out at 6.30am this morning to do my school run job - outside temperature gauge showed 1°C, and it was snowing heavens high.
Went out again at around midday - it had stopped snowing, 90% of what had laid had thawed and the temperature was showing 11°C - a dramatic turnaround

How can you possibly be full from sa laad? We had basically a cooked breakfast with chips to use up some stuff that was about to turn, was very nice, then I popped down to the Electrical Wizard for a bit of rehydration

Cool

Morning everyone

Waiting for the rain or snow to arrive.

Taking Banana in to see if the garage can fix my drivers side window. Goes down ok, takes a week to come back up.

Then home and back to bed, need to shake this cold.

Cold out there but dry & that silly white nonsense has all gone.

Got a contractor coming out this morning to assess the damage to my house, hopefully they can get on with it without too much delay, I know these companies are busy just now with all the recent storm damage & flooding.

I’m not feeling too bad about it all at the minute apart from 2 things, my beautiful kitchen I had put in just 2 years ago may need to be ripped out, not so much for its own damage as there’s only a couple of bits that the water has attacked but I’m told they’ll need to replaster both sides of the dividing wall, the other thing is my sofa, it’s probably getting on for 5 years old. I've taken so much care of it. Everything else I’m pretty ok with.
