The F badge is considerably smaller with only 4 prongs and I was able to pop it off from the front. The MGF badge and variations are readily available but I haven't seen any replacements for the ZT. I would want to source one before doing any surgery. Anybody know of a source?

I considered this a while back - bottled out tho....
I changed my wheel to a Black ZT wheel initially, now have a black 75 wheel I don't like the big round facelift badge on the steering wheel airbag - I bought an original style airbag and painted it black with some PeelCoat Paint - it's a peelable (temporary) paint finish - matches the interior vinyl and looks factory to me [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] Paul. |

If I am still around I will post some pictures of how I did it. If I get killed, I will get my wife to post the pictures up to and including the large hole in the roof. Either way it could be turned into a sticky, just changing the title "how to" or "how not to".
