8 Way Electric Seat Adjustment

The electric switch for the driver's seat back rest in my 2002 Connoisseur has failed. I am going to get a new 8 way switch but all those I have seen have memory function whereas my seat does not have this function. Would the switches with memory function still work in this case?

Memory and non memory are different im afraid.

Thanks. Any idea where I may be able to find a non memory switch. Happy to pay for a new rather than used switch if necessary.
