Default What coolant should I put in 2.5 KV6?

I plan to do a timing belt change soon, so I’ll do the water pump at the same time, oil, etc.
So I plan to change the coolant completely. What coolant should I use? Considering is 2019, and parts shop people only ask me: but what colour is your coolant now? We’ll give you the same.
I don’t care what’s in there, maybe previous owner put in the wrong type.

So, what coolant should I use exactly? Is there a specific color for it?

They came out of the factory with the pink OAT coolant. Now there's an ongoing debate as to the damage that this may or may not do to O-rings, particularly those on the thermostat housing. However the blue and pink varieties won't mix so if you're going to change from one to the other you'll need to do a full flush and then refill the system by the book in order to avoid those air locks.

OAT is specified, however there is a few people of the opinion that OAT causes damage to some of the O rings. Whether this is simply personal opinion or a conclusion of an in depth series of specific tests is open to objective scrutiny.

The OAT debarcle was resolved technically years ago when the old 2-EHA formula was replaced by 'rubber-friendly' inhibitors. Considering the vast number of aluminium engines with rubber and silicone parts being made these days and that they all come with OAT type coolant, it's impossible to conceive that it's still a problem. Whatever, old attitudes die hard, so people must use what they think's best. Your money, your engine, your choice. Red, green, blue or purple, they all work. Just don't mix colours and replace at the antifreeze manufacturer's recommended period.

Ok, so pink was original, pink I’m going to use. That would be very good, as it’s they same in my Toyota (although there I always get Toyota SLLC and done).
