Cool Fuel gauge

Fuel gauge in Banana is getting a pain. Sometimes it shows empty and another time barely moves off of the full mark.
Is the sender unit at fault? If so is a easy fix? Could I do it?

The senders are easily damaged if the tank modules are removed.

I have a how to somewhere, is it in my signature? I am on tapatalk at the moment so can't check.

Mine does that too. I just live with it and make sure I zero the mileage display every time I fill up.

Having seen the Flying Banana several times, I doubt the wonky gauge is something Bob could live with ....

If you are in the area Bob, pop in and I will fix it for you.

I cant help you with repairing it, however, I have a car with a working gauge, I imagine it would be a lot of hassle to swap them out, so how about we swap the cars over, and you can have a working gauge again. Simple

Many thanks. I'll work out when I'm in your area. Will give you a few days notice.

Good idea but I doubt I could not live without my 1.8t. And I already have a CDTi. But thanks for the offer.
