Diesel knock
My 75 CDT has developed a diesel knock, it starts and drives ok.
I've tried Diphtane, but it sounds worse since I added it. |

First thing, do a leak back test on the injectors. This will give you an idea which injector is playing up. Isolate each injector electrically, one by one, with the ignition off. Start the car and listen for the lack of diesel knock, this will tell you which injector is malfunctioning.

Gus
Did you use a genuine Corteco pulley to replace the crank pulley ??There have been tales on here of knocking occurring after replacement with cheaper after-market pulleys, only cured by fitting the Corteco item. Cheers Pete |
