Will not be a problem as the new pipe produced will have a mark where it can be cut and the sensor then can be fitted back in,

Regards,

Marc

I'm hoping to get one in early January for a trial fit onto one of my ZT's

The hoses will come with a witness mark for cutting for the later models with the air temp sensor.

I only need to confirm a few sizes and were good to go on these.

As I have a EGR bypass fitted and don't have an OEM EGR has any member got one they can measure with calipers if possible so I can compare with the bypass just to make sure there pretty much the same (I'm sure they are but want to check just in case).
Hi wullie.
Both should be the same 56mm OS Dia so a 57mm IS dia hose needed. Arctic

Hi Steph,

I think what the idea is, and I'm sure Wullie will confirm or correct when he gets a chance is that he has very kindly been in discussions with a company call Derbyperformancehose that make silicone hoses and are in the process of manufacturing a hose for our cars which should be available in the new year. Then the plan would be for us to order them directly from the company itself, which I'm sure they would post to Austria, maybe best to check with them though just to be sure,

Kind regards,

Marc

Thanks chaps
No measurements required really as I've sent a brand new nose off today to be copied.
I've added the witness marks so the new silicone pipes can be used for early one piece or 2 piece for later cars with the temp sensor.

Any measurements made from used pipes would have been inaccurate due to the swelling etc.
This way we know the project will be spot on
