Smile New member from Spain and a queswtion

Hello and everybody and thank you for letting me be part of your club. I hope you understand my English. My name is Angel, from Vigo, in the Northwest coast of Spain. I have recently bought a 75 2.0 cdt and in the garage they are finishing "washing" it for me.
I have a doubt with the cd changer. I have always used the glove box for different things. Do you know if it is possible to change the cd changer to another place with not very much work?
Thank you in advance and I will send you some pictures of the car when I get it.
Best regards,

Angel

Hi Angel and wellcome to the club , yes it is possible to move the cd changer from your glove box . A while back i had a MG ZT with one in the glove box with only enough room to keep a pen in there as well , not much room. The ZT i have now the previous owner had it refitted to the boot fixed under the rear parcel shelf . Its out of the way but going over some bumps in the road causes the cd to skip a little . Im sorry but i dont know how to do this job as iv never done it but im sure a member who knows how will be along soon to tell you . Best of luck with your cd changer and i hope you enjoy your new car .

The OEM CD changer lives in two places, glovebox or boot at the right hand side. Going for the boot location may be an easier option as the bracket, boot trim etc should be readily available, in the UK anyway, not sure about Spain. Obviously you'd need to run the wiring for it.

Changer in boot location:
