Default Momentary loss of power under acceleration

A couple of issues have appeared over the last couple of days.

Firstly under acceleration I've been getting a momentary stutter or hiccup then its its fine again. This has happened three times since yesterday.

Secondly moving slowly in queuing traffic on the way home tonight, the engine struggled to maintain revs when I took my foot off the accelerator. I thought it was going to cut out but a push on the accelerator and it was fine again.

Car is a 1.8T. Plugs are gapped at approx. 0.7mm

Any thoughts welcomed.
