Finally got around to fitting my rear shelf and electric blind. Quite pleased that it was a fairly simple job and only took about 3 hours from start to finish. I was lucky to find one in the correct colour and with the HK speaker grille already fitted and so that save me a lot of work having to swap bits over.

just needed a bit of care lifting over the seat belt reels and to align the fixing studs through the holes and the rear clips - a gentle shove and it went in ok.

Tested before I put it all back together and works perfectly. very ingenious mechanism behind it.

Some great add ons there, even the tea pot. But a leaping cat on a Rover, maybe just a leap too far.

Lets the Teapot 75/MG fashion mania begin now!

Yesterday I began my steering wheel mods - there are too much uncomfortable/useless buttons/gadgets

Just whipped the front bumper and nearside head lamp out to adjust the wiring loom. Was tidying under the bonnet yesterday and noticed the loom to the nearside head lamp appeared to be trapped under the headlamp and the loom wasn't clipped into the hole of the chassis leg.

Luckily quick enough job to take the bumper off, didn't need to disconnect anything so just lowered it to the floor.

Realise that I need to put a piece of edging on the underside of the chassis leg just to stop the Shannon tube ducting rubbing against it, but can do that from above.

Wash, dry, wax, hoover, shaved seats, wipe down interior plastics, unstuck a sticking rear calliper, dressed tyres - hasn’t stopped raining since
