My 1989 240GL Auto, this was my personal recession buster, it turned up on the drive one day, my mate said it was just the car for me, I didn't need or want another car but Volvos are a passion of mine & I got stuck into it, at a cost of 1 track rod end & a set of s/h alloys & some budget tyres, it was through an MOT & in daily use for about 2 years. It never let me down & apart from the fuel it went through it was one of the most economical cars I've ever owned

Here's a few of my 'Old Bangers'....

A Mercedes 200 Manual Petrol and a old BMW 2000 in the background:

My old Mercedes 350se:

An old Peugeot 504 Automatique:

My old Anglia 105E:

A Mini 1275GTS: (That's my son who is now 31).

My old Avensis which I had to scrap last year along with a Mercedes 300CE, which had over 280000 miles on the clock before I sold it!

My old Mercedes 300E - 24 Valve. (Should never have sold that one!).

And last but not least, 'The Monster'! Merc 560SEL...

There are others, but I'm bored now. as you all must be also....lol.

The last sold ordered 75 Tourer. Paid for by the Phoenix Four and handed over by John Towers to the Warwickshire Northampton Air ambulance service as a Rapid Response vehicle

Default The Avengers .....

On the left - my Avenger 1500 with Ford wide wheels (5.5J x 13) and Cibié Oscar spotlights.
In the middle - father's 1600 Avenger
On the right - brother's Avenger GT - complete with Rostyle wheels (and Lucas spotlights!)

Brother had the quicker car - but I had the bigger spotlights

Still missing my Stratus. It was the first "real" car I bougth which cost me an arm and a leg and was not in a banger condition. It was also the kind of car that not everyone had:
