Sorted out the new clutch master cylinder (thanks Jules ) on Mrs MB's car, checked the torque settings on the subframe, steering rack and other things disturbed when removing the subframe, and fitted the replacement clutch pedal bushes and took it for a test drive........smooth light clutch

The delay in the job believe it of not after starting the job last week, was sourcing the replacement clevis clip for the clutch master cylinder which is NLA new, where the original had snapped in service.

Anyway my good lady will be pleasantly surprised when she gets back behind the wheel, and I'm glad I don't have to lie under a car any more at this time of year. it only seems like thirteen months since I did the same job on my old man's tourer

Just the MOT to sort on the ZT and I can relax for a bit

checked the plenums on the CDTi
bone dry and seems the drain is clear too

cabin filter looks pretty new

had a dig about for the cruise wiring ... nothing to be found even with the glovebox out

couldnt find the illuminated sunvisor wiring either .. although I am reliably informed it is ALWAYS there

and couldnt find the FBH wires either... I am doing so well

but I did (I think) find the FBH fuel feed

and I am not sure if this is the right pipe but maybe its had one fitted before ....

yep that's the fuel pipe... and that is the standard FBH bypass link fitted to cars that never had it as an option...

you just need the FBH and the pump and you should soon be in business...

I can help you fit it if you need a hand...

Grossly overloaded it, for the second time in two days, bringing back from a container depot as much as I could of the dismantled parts of my next project, a 1931 Rover.

Will need to investigate where I caught a pallet with the front skirt while leaving, but hopefully it's not cracked.
