Attended the Croft Nostalgia race weekend yesterday. Took the ZT-T, of course so I could take her up Hartside. The usual romp up there was a delight. We then decided to take the B6277 to Barnard Castle, oh my what a road that is.

So quiet, and such a great blend of open twistes. The 190 soaked it all up whilst slapping a stupid big grin on my face. Subtly interrupted by the persistent annoying squeaks from "her" in the passenger seat.

What did she expect getting me tickets to see classic racing? Obviously we went the same way home.

I can highly recommend that road for a blast out if anyone is in the area. All the motorbikes stop at Alston or Hartside cafe.

As above and I was surprised how easy it was to fit, best £10 I've spent in a long while.

Fitted my Xenon projectors today and changed my boot bulb (what a drama) regarding the headlights, do I need to adjust the levelling? I watched a youtube vid and they mentioned about the 'makro setting' ive used the dashboard wheel to point to the ground etc however.

Having realised just how dirty it had got when compared to TomRS' ZT-T, tonight I treated my 75 to a good wash. Amazing how just a little rain when it's been dry and dusty for a few days can make a car look so mucky.

Added to the 'to-do' list is investigation of its latest tendency of slight hunting at idle.

I didnt want to post this in case you didnt believe it, because I dont! lol But only edited to reduce the size to post. 250 miles and 8 days since it was last washed, it was dried with a drying aid though, made up of 10:1 water dodo juice Born Slippy mix(can be used as a detailer too, so maybe this helps). At least two days (50 miles) driving in heavy rain, since that wash.

This was it washed after.

3 months ago(May 12th to be precise), I did clay bar it, along with Auto Finesse Tough Prep, dodo juice light fantastic wax, and sealed with Auto Finesse Tough Coat. Washed then dried with the same drying aid, 3 or 4 times since. Washing in those 3 or 4 times involved spraying with Valet Pro shampoo slightly more concentrated than recommended in a pump garden pressure sprayer, rinsed with a hose, then washed with a lambswool wash mitt, Valet Pro shampoo.

The tough prep, made a noticeable difference, in the same way clay barring did the first time. Very impressed with that stuff! Not as impressed with the tough coat, in that it doesnt bead as well as the cheap sealant from car plan did. But the dirt doesnt seem to stick to it.

swirl marks are not totally eliminated. But as far as I know, it has only ever been hand polished - certainly in my time.

it does sparkle though

Default Fastest mod ever

Fitted the valve covers that I bought on a whim whilst on ebay.

Like the description on the back of the box of how they will enhance my beautiful tyres
I can't see the electrons though. I guess they are just too small.

Take them back off and put a bit of grease inside or they are more than likely going to rust solid I have a set somewhere that I decided not to fit after getting the same warning
