Default Torres

So he has finally admitted he wants to leave Liverpool.
Im gutted his a great player when he wants to be,couldnt blame him the way we have been this season but i thought the problems in the club had been addressed and were on the ascent.
Contracts are not worth a carrot then heh, just go then you or no one will ever be bigger than LFC.
And that goes for every greedy pro footballer whoever they play for, you wont get Kenny going on his hands and knees begging you to stay, torres not like some scottish premiership managers!
Bye.

Eric

football players have no honour , as human beings they lack the basics of doing the right thing , as for having a dig at scottish managers they have brought glory and trophy's to the english game for over 50 years .
Oh and btw kenny is a backward step .
He will bring stability but you need a more high profile manager.

It wasnt a general dig as you say but a thought about the actions of a certain manager, very good manager agreed, who had to offer a player more grans a week!to stop him moving over the road.
You are right about great Scottish bosses, i couldnt agree more, Shanks,Sir Matt and many more, but dont mention Souness, the man who really knocked Liverpool of their perch, nobody else!

agree with you about souness , his image was what sold him to people , he came to my club when we were at our lowest ebb and bought great players but it was walter smith who was driving the club on .
As a captain liverpool owed souness much (he was a star) but appointing him manager. Was a huge mistake , I fear kenny is another , liverpool are struggling right now mainly due to bad decisions by ownwners frankly .

btw eric bending over backwards to keep a player seems to be an italian thing to , mancini did it to keep a certain argie at eastlands .
Torres said he wanted out by monday and I believe that other mercenary said the same thing .
They are greedy people that would pull on any shirt for the right bucks.

I don't think money comes into it as far as Torres is concerned as he is already a megga wealthy superstar,he's a world class player in his prime and there is every likelyhood that he will be facing yet another season without champions league football.I know his own form hasn't been anything special in recent times but i don't blame him for thinking about his future prospects of winning things.
